A collision led to SIF Akademi getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Ingvar Walroth hit a great ball. After 6 played minutes SIF Akademi got a freekick which was hit by Ingvar Walroth. After a defensive mix-up in SIF Akademi's zone, Wilhelm Åström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Magne Brogren came out of the goal and Wilhelm Åström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Malcolm Ljungberg got free with Magne Brogren in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Magne Brogren didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 17th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. 21 minutes into the match, MangeFC's goal looked a bit too open when Tord Jakobsson came free, but Dan Qvalfeldt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Magne Brogren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilhelm Åström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Malcolm Ljungberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Magne Brogren having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Claes Mossberg in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dan Qvalfeldt saved MangeFC from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in MangeFC's zone, Uno Östlund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dan Qvalfeldt came out of the goal and Uno Östlund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dan Qvalfeldt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claes Mossberg in the 32nd minute of the match. Dan Qvalfeldt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Uno Östlund, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. When Tord Jakobsson fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SIF Akademi's protests and gave Tord Jakobsson a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, SIF Akademi's Tord Jakobsson got a free kick in the 36th minute. Wilhelm Åström received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Magne Brogren came out and tried to block the shot, but Wilhelm Åström slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 41st minute. Tord Jakobsson kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. After 47 played minutes MangeFC got a freekick which was hit by Andy Lundqvist. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Uno Östlund made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute of the match SIF Akademi got a corner. MangeFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Emanuel Offendahl ran over to the corner to take the kick. SIF Akademi's Emanuel Offendahl was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Dan Qvalfeldt in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Uno Östlund got free with Dan Qvalfeldt in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in MangeFC's zone, Uno Östlund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dan Qvalfeldt came out of the goal and Uno Östlund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Uno Östlund blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dan Qvalfeldt having to make a save. If Uno Östlund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 77th match minute, MangeFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilhelm Åström to maneuver through the defense. Uno Östlund struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Dan Qvalfeldt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SIF Akademi. In the 90th minute, Wilhelm Åström ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Magne Brogren was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Malcolm Ljungberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Magne Brogren having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the SIF Akademi players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for MangeFC.
