Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Claes Mossberg made the kick off which started today's match. Peter Klack came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by SIF Akademi's Uno Östlund. But to his dismay, Uno Östlund quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 6th match minute, SIF Akademi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tord Jakobsson to maneuver through the defense. Magne Brogren came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Kalvsvik's Esbjörn Wiman. But to his dismay, Esbjörn Wiman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. If Esbjörn Wiman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in SIF Akademi's zone, Sven-Olof Norberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Magne Brogren came out of the goal and Sven-Olof Norberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Magne Brogren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven-Olof Norberg in the 19th minute of play. After a rather tough play, SIF Akademi's Tord Jakobsson got a free kick in the 20th minute. Kalvsvik's Sven-Olof Norberg got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 23 minutes, Esbjörn Wiman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kalvsvik's supporters crossed their fingers, but Esbjörn Wiman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in SIF Akademi's zone, Esbjörn Wiman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Magne Brogren came out of the goal and Esbjörn Wiman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kalvsvik's Peter Klack played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claes Mossberg in the 33rd minute of play. Uno Östlund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peter Klack having to interfere. 38 minutes into the game, Sven-Olof Norberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Magne Brogren was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sven-Olof Norberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Magne Brogren read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. Esbjörn Wiman took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Magne Brogren. Magne Brogren dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3.

The wind increased when Sven-Olof Norberg made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Esbjörn Wiman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kalvsvik's supporters rose to their feet, but Esbjörn Wiman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Magne Brogren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Sven-Olof Norberg came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Kalvsvik fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sven-Olof Norberg couldn't finish the play. Magne Brogren made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Esbjörn Wiman sent off a good shot on target. Esbjörn Wiman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Sven-Olof Norberg kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Magne Brogren. That made the score 1-4 in the 72 minute of play. After having played for 80 minutes, Esbjörn Wiman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kalvsvik's supporters crossed their fingers, but Esbjörn Wiman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 82nd minute, Esbjörn Wiman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The SIF Akademi fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Kalvsvik were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
