Spectators: 7367 (Terracing: 5526, Seating: 1694, VIP seats: 147) Viktor Vik started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 2nd match minute, IF Dottan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robert Josefsson to maneuver through the defense. After 7 played minutes Hasselfors IFK got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo Askstedt. Hasselfors IFK's Morgan Kvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claes Olsson in the 10th minute of play. In the 12th minute, IF Dottan's Claes Olsson dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Morgan Kvist came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by IF Dottan's Robert Josefsson. But to his dismay, Robert Josefsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Jarl Hedling showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viktor Vik, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Jarl Hedling took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viktor Vik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Claes Olsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Morgan Kvist was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. Claes Olsson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Morgan Kvist having to make a save. 33 minutes into the match, Hasselfors IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Claes Olsson came free, but Morgan Kvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Claes Olsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. IF Dottan's supporters rose to their feet, but Claes Olsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Morgan Kvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Ted Bröms came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the IF Dottan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ted Bröms couldn't finish the play. In the 40th match minute, IF Dottan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robert Josefsson to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 41 minutes, Bernt Tidéksson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hasselfors IFK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernt Tidéksson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Viktor Vik struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Jarl Hedling didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hasselfors IFK. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Claes Olsson made a kick off. Morgan Kvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claes Olsson in the 52nd minute of play. When Ted Bröms came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the IF Dottan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ted Bröms couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Hasselfors IFK's Sven-Arne Andersson got a free kick in the 58th minute. Ted Bröms received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Morgan Kvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Claes Olsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tom Näfver kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. If Ted Bröms had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 83 minutes into the match, Hasselfors IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Claes Olsson came free, but Morgan Kvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bernt Tidéksson got free with Jarl Hedling in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 96 minutes, Viktor Vik managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hasselfors IFK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Viktor Vik was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. IF Dottan walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
