Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Konrad Utter got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute, Rolf Petersson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hjalmar Söderberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. If Mattias Nordström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Göran Grep managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hällnäs FF's supporters rose to their feet, but Göran Grep was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hjalmar Söderberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hjalmar Söderberg made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Rolf Petersson sent off a good shot on target. Göran Grep could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Hjalmar Söderberg made a huge save. Peter Hedlund kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Rolf Petersson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 22ndth minute tested the skills of Hjalmar Söderberg when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Hjalmar Söderberg made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Rolf Petersson sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Göran Grep's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hjalmar Söderberg was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. After 26 minutes, Rickard Aronsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Västerås SK and the Hällnäs FF players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 27 played minutes Västerås SK got a freekick which was hit by Rickard Aronsson. Douglas Beckström kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Västerås SK's Hjalmar Söderberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Västerås SK from getting a goal against them. If Rolf Petersson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Västerås SK's Peter Hedlund got a free kick in the 42nd minute. When the match clock showed 45 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Rolf Petersson sped through Västerås SK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hjalmar Söderberg. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rolf Petersson to make the kick off. Gunnar Ivarsson was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Johannes Hjortberg. After a rather tough play, Västerås SK's Peter Hedlund got a free kick in the 57th minute. Mattias Nordström blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hjalmar Söderberg having to make a save. After some careless play in the Västerås SK defense, Rolf Petersson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hjalmar Söderberg. The Västerås SK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hjalmar Söderberg should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Konrad Utter in the 64th minute of play forced Hällnäs FF's goalkeeper Gunnar Ivarsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andy Eriksson in the 72nd minute of play forced Västerås SK's goalkeeper Hjalmar Söderberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Peter Hedlund's late challenge caught a Hällnäs FF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Peter Hedlund helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Hällnäs FF booed when Västerås SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Peter Hedlund didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gunnar Ivarsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Konrad Utter in the 76th minute of play. Hällnäs FF's Rolf Petersson got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Mattias Nordström came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Hällnäs FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mattias Nordström couldn't finish the play. Göran Grep fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hjalmar Söderberg having to interfere. When the match clock showed 87 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Rolf Petersson sped through Västerås SK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hjalmar Söderberg. Mattias Nordström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 96th minute of the game. One of Västerås SK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Hällnäs FF:s goal. Västerås SK:s Hjalmar Söderberg showed great skill when he stopped George Frisck:s penalty. After a long run with the ball, George Frisck did a trick in the 98th minute in front of Västerås SK's goalkeeper, who threw himself to the side. After that it was simple to shoot 6-0. An impressive performance by Hällnäs FF's George Frisck! When the referee ended the match the Hällnäs FF players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
