Samuel Aleberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mikael Kielstedt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Olof Bolander managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sangis IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Olof Bolander was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Samuel Aleberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 58th match minute, Skoghall IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hans Haström to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Sangis IF booed when Skoghall IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claes Anundsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Sören Alegren fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sangis IF's protests and gave Sören Alegren a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Sangis IF getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Sören Alegren hit a great ball. Mikael Kielstedt struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Samuel Aleberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sangis IF. Claes Anundsson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Aleksander Broman came out and tried to block the shot, but Claes Anundsson slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 74th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mikael Kielstedt in the 78th minute of play forced Skoghall IK's goalkeeper Samuel Aleberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Sangis IF's Olof Bolander in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Aleksander Broman came out of the goal and Claes Anundsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Claes Anundsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 98th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Skoghall IK's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
