Spectators: 7281 (Terracing: 5463, Seating: 1674, VIP seats: 144) In the 4th play minute Rickard Tingberg came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Mark Åkesson. 1-0. 10 minutes into the match, Kaj Wallman dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Mark Åkesson, 2-0. Skånes Fagerhult's Mark Åkesson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Skånes Fagerhult from getting a goal against them. If Kaj Wallman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kennet Alrot took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ernst Delin. Ernst Delin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 31st minute, Skånes Fagerhult's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Kaj Wallman fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 41 minutes into the match, Degerfors IF's Rickard Tingberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mark Åkesson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, Skånes Fagerhult's Mark Åkesson got control of the ball when Rickard Tingberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Kennet Alrot managed to get in a good position for a shot. Skånes Fagerhult's supporters rose to their feet, but Kennet Alrot was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ernst Delin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

If Kennet Alrot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ernst Delin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kennet Alrot, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. In the 63rd minute Rickard Tingberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mark Åkesson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Skånes Fagerhult's Mark Åkesson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rickard Tingberg in the 69th minute of play. 73 minutes into the match, Skånes Fagerhult's goal looked a bit too open when Rickard Tingberg came free, but Mark Åkesson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mark Åkesson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kaj Wallman's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kaj Wallman in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mark Åkesson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kennet Alrot in the 83rd minute of play forced Degerfors IF's goalkeeper Ernst Delin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 84 minutes in the game, Erling Koch fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Ernst Delin having to interfere. If Kennet Alrot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Degerfors IF fans cheered their team off the field, for while Skånes Fagerhult had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
