Spectators: 7249 (Terracing: 5472, Seating: 1677, VIP seats: 100) Flen FC's Wictor Ahlbom started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lennart Lindgren in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bengt Åström saved Flen FC from getting behind. Flen FC's Bengt Åström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Flen FC from getting a goal against them. 25 minutes into the match, Sven Kalfhage notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Flen FC's Bengt Åström. Bengt Åström was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 29 minutes into the match, Flen FC's goalkeeper Bengt Åström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sven Kalfhage. Wictor Ahlbom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johannes Åberg having to interfere. With his leg Bengt Åström managed to avoid a goal in the 37thth minute, when Myggenäs IK's Lennart Lindgren fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Johannes Åberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wictor Ahlbom went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Wictor Ahlbom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Johannes Åberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sven Kalfhage was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Lennart Lindgren had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bengt Åström. Flen FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lennart Lindgren was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 58th minute of the game. One of Flen FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Myggenäs IK:s goal. The referee gave Myggenäs IK a penalty, 59 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Randall Leal, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Flen FC's Bengt Åström. 3-1. Flen FC's Bengt Åström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven Kalfhage in the 68th minute of play. A collision led to Myggenäs IK getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Ingvar Askstedt hit a great ball. Myggenäs IK's attentive Robert Hermansson managed to snatch the ball when Stig Fagerberg made a throw-in in the 76th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wictor Ahlbom in the 87th minute of play forced Myggenäs IK's goalkeeper Johannes Åberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Myggenäs IK had won after a very even match.
