The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, Myggenäs IK's Johannes Åberg got control of the ball when Joakim Lundgren tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 10th minute of the match Rune Sundström shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Johannes Åberg showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Johannes Åberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joakim Lundgren in the 12th minute. In the 13th minute of the match, Wiktor Lööf tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Johannes Åberg saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. George Burman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sven Kalfhage in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ivan Gerdberg saved Dödskallegänget IK from getting behind. Dödskallegänget IK's Ivan Gerdberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by George Burman in the 27th minute of play. When the match clock showed 27 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Sven Kalfhage sped through Dödskallegänget IK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ivan Gerdberg. When Sven Kalfhage came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Myggenäs IK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sven Kalfhage couldn't finish the play. Sven Kalfhage recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tomas Lind was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 45 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Myggenäs IK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 45th minute. Penalty! Johannes Åberg had in the 48thth minute some difficulties stopping Alvar Palmquist's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sven Kalfhage stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sven Kalfhage blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ivan Gerdberg having to make a save. Myggenäs IK's Johannes Åberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wiktor Lööf in the 58th minute of play. Sven Kalfhage kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joakim Lundgren in the 64th minute of play forced Myggenäs IK's goalkeeper Johannes Åberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Sven Kalfhage had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ivan Gerdberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sven Kalfhage went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. In the 79th minute Joakim Lundgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Johannes Åberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sven Kalfhage took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ivan Gerdberg. Ivan Gerdberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Joakim Lundgren kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. If Sven Kalfhage had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle sounded Myggenäs IK left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Dödskallegänget IK.
