With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bengt-Åke Johnsson in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jimmy Söderström saved Björkvik IF from getting behind. Stormy Swedes's Casper Kristiansson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Börje Mattsson in the 15th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, Stormy Swedes's goal looked a bit too open when Börje Mattsson came free, but Casper Kristiansson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 23 minutes, Mats Tomasson made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Björkvik IF's Jimmy Söderström tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Stormy Swedes getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Rudolf Biörk hit a great ball. Casper Kristiansson was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Per Dahlbom. 32 minutes into the match, Björkvik IF's Börje Mattsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Casper Kristiansson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Stormy Swedes getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Per-Oskar Felin hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Henning Hamnberg during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Björkvik IF booed when Stormy Swedes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henning Hamnberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. 44 minutes in the game, Börje Mattsson fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Casper Kristiansson having to interfere. Casper Kristiansson made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Elliot Bammerman sent off a good shot on target. Casper Kristiansson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Börje Mattsson in the 48th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Börje Mattsson made a kick off. With a little luck, Björkvik IF's Jimmy Söderström got control of the ball when Bengt-Åke Johnsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Elliot Bammerman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 57 minutes into the game, Elliot Bammerman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Casper Kristiansson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Stormy Swedes's zone, Elliot Bammerman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Casper Kristiansson came out of the goal and Elliot Bammerman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Stormy Swedes's Bengt-Åke Johnsson got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 68 minutes into the game, Eskil Almkvist was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Björkvik IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Stormy Swedes the free kick. The supporters of Stormy Swedes booed when Björkvik IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eskil Almkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bengt-Åke Johnsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jimmy Söderström having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Robert Bergqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stormy Swedes's supporters rose to their feet, but Robert Bergqvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jimmy Söderström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Björkvik IF's Börje Mattsson got a free kick in the 84th minute. Bengt-Åke Johnsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Bengt-Åke Johnsson came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Stormy Swedes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bengt-Åke Johnsson couldn't finish the play. Björkvik IF's Jimmy Söderström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mats Tomasson in the 94th minute of play. Björkvik IF's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
