In the 4th match minute, Björkvik IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonard Beck to maneuver through the defense. Billy Pihlgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jimmy Söderström having to interfere. Pontus Sjö succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 9th playminute. 13 minutes into the match, Holmsund FK's goal looked a bit too open when Börje Mattsson came free, but Greger Bergstedt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th match minute, Björkvik IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eskil Almkvist to maneuver through the defense. Billy Pihlgren charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Billy Pihlgren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 21st minute, Michael Törnblom hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Pontus Sjö had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pontus Sjö fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jimmy Söderström having to interfere. Greger Bergstedt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elliot Bammerman, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Johan Holmgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 39th minute, Eskil Almkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pontus Sjö received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Jimmy Söderström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eskil Almkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Pontus Sjö struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Jimmy Söderström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Holmsund FK. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Billy Pihlgren made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Billy Pihlgren in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jimmy Söderström saved Björkvik IF from getting behind. 54 minutes into the match, Björkvik IF's goal looked a bit too open when Billy Pihlgren came free, but Jimmy Söderström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Brian Ek charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Brian Ek the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Brian Ek hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elliot Bammerman got free with Greger Bergstedt in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pontus Sjö recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jimmy Söderström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pontus Sjö, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Jimmy Söderström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Billy Pihlgren in the 77th minute of play. Elliot Bammerman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 93 minutes into the match, Eskil Almkvist had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Greger Bergstedt. Holmsund FK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eskil Almkvist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
