Mollösund's Simon Lidberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Per-Olof Lekberg in the 21st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Oskar Mikaelsson in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Simon Lidberg saved Mollösund from getting behind. After a rather tough play, IFK Holmsund's Björn Lång got a free kick in the 36th minute. In the 45th play minute Oliver Benet came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Edwin Bergvall. 1-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Oskar Mikaelsson made a kick off. The supporters of Mollösund booed when IFK Holmsund was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aaron Vall didn't get a good kick on the ball. IFK Holmsund's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
