Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gustaf Bållström kicked off to start the match. Sören Asmundsson had several of the Lugnvik IF's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 4 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Inge Klementsson as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 9th match minute, Hallarna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Björn Högström to maneuver through the defense. In the 14th minute Gustaf Bållström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lennart Burman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 18 in the game by Sören Asmundsson from a close distance when the talented Inge Klementsson managed to make a qualified save. Lugnvik IF's players were relieved. Sören Asmundsson's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 22ndth minute, Inge Klementsson skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Lennart Rolandsson hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Lugnvik IF's Inge Klementsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tommy Mogren in the 29th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Sören Asmundsson could shoot a difficult shot in the 39th minute, which Inge Klementsson however easily saved by the left post. With a little luck, Lugnvik IF's Inge Klementsson got control of the ball when Sören Asmundsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. 45 minutes into the match, Lugnvik IF's goal looked a bit too open when Tommy Mogren came free, but Inge Klementsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The supporters of Hallarna booed when Lugnvik IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Boris Danielsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Inge Klementsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sören Asmundsson's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. Sören Asmundsson hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Inge Klementsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tommy Mogren, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Inge Klementsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tommy Mogren in the 63rd minute of play. Hallarna's Lennart Burman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustaf Bållström in the 71st minute of play. 73 minutes into the match, Lugnvik IF's goal looked a bit too open when Sören Asmundsson came free, but Inge Klementsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 80th minute, Boris Danielsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Peder Bergström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Peder Bergström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Lennart Burman made a huge save. Inge Klementsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sören Asmundsson in the 89th minute of the match. Peder Bergström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Lennart Burman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Peder Bergström struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Lennart Burman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lugnvik IF. When Sören Asmundsson came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Hallarna fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sören Asmundsson couldn't finish the play.
