Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Sören Asmundsson kicked off to start the match. In the 4th minute, Stellan Nyman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Myggenäs IFK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The supporters of Hallarna booed when Myggenäs IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ove Alströmmer didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 7 minutes, Sören Asmundsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hallarna and the Myggenäs IFK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ove Alströmmer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some careless play in the Hallarna defense, Stellan Nyman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lennart Burman. The Hallarna fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lennart Burman should have stopped the shot. With 14 minutes on the clock, Magne Wickander commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Stellan Nyman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lennart Burman having to make a save. Klas Lidman hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Conny Mattsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yngve Biörnberg in the 29th minute. Stellan Nyman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Conny Mattsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Klas Lidman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Myggenäs IFK's Ove Alströmmer got a free kick in the 34th minute. After 36 played minutes Myggenäs IFK got a freekick which was hit by Ove Alströmmer. The crowd rose to their feet as Klas Lidman kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Conny Mattsson. That made the score 2-2 in the 39 minute of play. Tommy Mogren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Conny Mattsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Conny Mattsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tommy Mogren, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Stellan Nyman made a kick off. Ove Alströmmer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Conny Mattsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Birger Söderberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Stellan Nyman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 72nd minute, Tommy Mogren made a precise shot to the right of Conny Mattsson. Myggenäs IFK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. After a rather tough play, Myggenäs IFK's Ove Alströmmer got a free kick in the 75th minute. After 75 played minutes Myggenäs IFK got a freekick which was hit by Magnus Andreasson. 77 minutes into the match, Yngve Biörnberg notched a goal, 5-2, to the right of Myggenäs IFK's Conny Mattsson. Conny Mattsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Conny Mattsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tommy Mogren in the 80th minute of play. If Tommy Mogren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd minute Stellan Nyman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lennart Burman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Myggenäs IFK's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
