In the 6thth minute of the game Michael Häll who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Suryoyo's Kjell Brovall was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bro IFK were furious when David Magnusson was red carded, 8 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 10th minute there was a penalty for FC Suryoyo. Ingvar Dahlberg stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ove Hägglund. 1-0. Michael Häll received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Kjell Brovall tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in FC Suryoyo's zone, Michael Häll stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kjell Brovall came out of the goal and Michael Häll tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ludwig Carlsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Ove Hägglund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ove Hägglund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ludwig Carlsson in the 27th minute of play. After 30 played minutes FC Suryoyo got a freekick which was hit by Göran Finsberg. Michael Häll scored 1-1 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kjell Brovall, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Michael Häll made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Malte Berg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. It was beautiful to see Bro IFK's Sven-Edvin Asmundsson in action when he in the 53rd minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Ove Hägglund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Linus Kråk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Linus Kråk took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ove Hägglund. Ove Hägglund dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Ulf Nyman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC Suryoyo's Ludwig Carlsson got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 72nd minute, Michael Häll fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Kjell Brovall, passed just outside the right post. Ludwig Carlsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ove Hägglund having to interfere. Michael Häll sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 88th minute, Ludwig Carlsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Linus Kråk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ove Hägglund having to interfere. Bro IFK's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
