In the 24th minute, Patric Henriksson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Isaac Vesterberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Marcus Arenberg made a huge save. After 46 played minutes Gudhem RK got a freekick which was hit by Karl Linqvist. Harry Berglund, 47 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ivar Gustavsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ture Ambjörnsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eddie Linquist got free with Henrik Åström in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Stafsinge IF fully deserved thier win.
