Jimmy Tholsson took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Viktor Finman. Viktor Finman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After having played for 15 minutes, Gustaf Ennegren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Highly Wanted's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gustaf Ennegren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Karl-Magnus Holm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mark Engström having to interfere. Mark Engström didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Karl-Axel Willig went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Jimmy Tholsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Magnus Holm in the 41st minute of play forced Highly Wanted's goalkeeper Mark Engström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 44 minutes into the match, Highly Wanted's goalkeeper Mark Engström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Karl-Axel Willig. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Karl-Magnus Holm was the one to do the kick off. Mark Engström didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Karl-Magnus Holm went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Mark Engström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl-Magnus Holm, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. The Törstiga FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Viktor Finman should have stopped the shot. 78 minutes into the game, Einar Mickelsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Highly Wanted's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Törstiga FK the free kick. After 78 played minutes Highly Wanted got a freekick which was hit by Einar Mickelsson. After some careless play in the Highly Wanted defense, Karl-Magnus Holm kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mark Engström. The Highly Wanted fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mark Engström should have stopped the shot. In the 82nd match minute, Törstiga FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samuel Lidberg to maneuver through the defense. 96 minutes into the game, one of Törstiga FK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The Highly Wanted supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Highly Wanted would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
