A collision led to Skelleftehamn IFK getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Kaj Lindqvist hit a great ball. After 18 played minutes, Pågarnas FF's Egon Ekrot shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Torsten Bergstedt came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Pågarnas FF reached it. Skelleftehamn IFK's Torsten Bergstedt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isac Östman in the 22nd minute of play. In the 24th minute of the match Pågarnas FF got a corner. Skelleftehamn IFK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Egon Ekrot ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 24th match minute, Pågarnas FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jens-Erik Tillman to maneuver through the defense. Kaj Lindqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Edvin Persson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isac Östman in the 31st minute of play forced Skelleftehamn IFK's goalkeeper Torsten Bergstedt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Olov Bergqvist came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Skelleftehamn IFK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Olov Bergqvist couldn't finish the play. After 46 played minutes Pågarnas FF got a freekick which was hit by Kent Stigsson. 47 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Skelleftehamn IFK's Olov Bergqvist fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Karl-Åke Alstedt to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Skelleftehamn IFK's Olov Bergqvist got a free kick in the 51st minute. When Ivar Olofsson came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Pågarnas FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ivar Olofsson couldn't finish the play. Torsten Bergstedt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivar Olofsson in the 59th minute of play. If Karl-Åke Alstedt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 67 played minutes Pågarnas FF got a freekick which was hit by Jens-Erik Tillman. Karl-Åke Alstedt's late challenge caught a Pågarnas FF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Karl-Åke Alstedt helped the player get up and apologised. After 69 played minutes Skelleftehamn IFK got a freekick which was hit by Karl-Åke Alstedt. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Pågarnas FF's goalkeeper Edvin Persson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Matthias Öman hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Pågarnas FF's zone, Olov Bergqvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edvin Persson came out of the goal and Olov Bergqvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isac Östman in the 82nd minute of play forced Skelleftehamn IFK's goalkeeper Torsten Bergstedt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th minute of the match Marcus Mårtensson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Torsten Bergstedt showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Olov Bergqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edvin Persson having to interfere. In the 93rd minute Karl-Åke Alstedt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edvin Persson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Skelleftehamn IFK players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Pågarnas FF from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
