Karl-Axel Kämpe hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Powerpuffpinglorna's zone, Örjan Dahlquist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christian Adelsköld came out of the goal and Örjan Dahlquist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Torsten Norberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sixten Stenman in the 9th minute of play. Gunnar Jansson kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eric Larsson in the 16th minute of play forced Powerpuffpinglorna's goalkeeper Christian Adelsköld to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aron Andreasson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Christian Adelsköld having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eric Larsson in the 18th minute of play forced Powerpuffpinglorna's goalkeeper Christian Adelsköld to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Eric Larsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Christian Adelsköld. Powerpuffpinglorna's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eric Larsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Edwin Abrahamsson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Torsten Norberg having to make a save. 29 minutes in the game, Bo Lidman dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Christian Adelsköld took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eric Larsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Gnarp FC's Örjan Dahlquist got a free kick in the 37th minute. Örjan Dahlquist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sixten Stenman in the 43rd minute of play forced Gnarp FC's goalkeeper Torsten Norberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sixten Stenman to make the kick off. Powerpuffpinglorna's Christian Adelsköld played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eric Larsson in the 54th minute of play. In the 57th minute Bo Lidman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Torsten Norberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 59 minutes, Vilhelm Fredriksson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Powerpuffpinglorna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vilhelm Fredriksson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 63 minutes into the game, Powerpuffpinglorna's Brian Holmstedt nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Torsten Norberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. In the 66th minute Sixten Stenman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Torsten Norberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 71st minute, Brian Holmstedt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bo Lidman during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 81st match minute, Powerpuffpinglorna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bo Lidman to maneuver through the defense. 82 minutes into the match, Powerpuffpinglorna's goal looked a bit too open when Eric Larsson came free, but Christian Adelsköld reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Gnarp FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Gnarp FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
