Evert Lindberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edmund Sjö's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. In the 8th minute, Staffanstorp RK's Edmund Sjö dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. If Edmund Sjö had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 18 minutes, Ulrik Petersson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lödöse SK and the Staffanstorp RK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 18 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Lödöse SK! When the match had been going on for 19 minutes, Staffanstorp RK's Per-Åke Österberg got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Evert Lindberg. Edmund Sjö sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Karl-Johan Wennerstens short, quick shot in the 34thth minute got Evert Lindberg to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Edmund Sjö managed to get in a good position for a shot. Staffanstorp RK's supporters rose to their feet, but Edmund Sjö was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Evert Lindberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Evert Lindberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Karl-Johan Wennersten went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Vilhelm Forssell kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Evert Lindberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmund Sjö in the 61st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmund Sjö in the 66th minute of play forced Lödöse SK's goalkeeper Evert Lindberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 68 minutes into the match, Lödöse SK's goal looked a bit too open when Edmund Sjö came free, but Evert Lindberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bengt-Åke Hermansson kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute, Edmund Sjö left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Staffanstorp RK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. 81 minutes into the match, Lödöse SK's goal looked a bit too open when Karl-Johan Wennersten came free, but Evert Lindberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Lödöse SK's Andréas Bock got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Karl-Johan Wennersten in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Evert Lindberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 89th minute, Edmund Sjö left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Staffanstorp RK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. In the 92nd minute Karl-Johan Wennersten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evert Lindberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
