In the 17th match minute, Linderöds if was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alvar Bergkvist to maneuver through the defense. When Greger Kielberg fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Linderöds if's protests and gave Greger Kielberg a yellow card for diving instead. If Börge Nordkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Clock Work Orange's Torgny Gerdberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Greger Kielberg in the 24th minute of play. Torgny Gerdberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olov Eklund, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Torgny Gerdberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olov Eklund in the 29th minute of play. Clock Work Orange's Torgny Gerdberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olov Eklund in the 31st minute of play. Lukas Mickelsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rudolf Linberg having to interfere. 39 minutes into the match, Clock Work Orange's goal looked a bit too open when Greger Kielberg came free, but Torgny Gerdberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Clock Work Orange's Kennet Broberg got a free kick in the 41st minute. Clock Work Orange's Torgny Gerdberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Greger Kielberg in the 43rd minute of play. Torgny Gerdberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olov Eklund in the 48th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When Olov Eklund came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Linderöds if fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Olov Eklund couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Clock Work Orange getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Vincent Lind hit a great ball. After 86 minutes of play, Linderöds if's Greger Kielberg made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Torgny Gerdberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! Clock Work Orange's Torgny Gerdberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Clock Work Orange from getting a goal against them. Clock Work Orange's Torgny Gerdberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jakob Biörkquist in the 93rd minute of play. If Olov Eklund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Linderöds if were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Clock Work Orange's much stronger midfield.
