In the 6th minute Olov Eklund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Per Harlén saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Linus Brovall got free with Rudolf Linberg in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 24 minutes into the match, Feel the Magic's goal looked a bit too open when Greger Kielberg came free, but Per Harlén reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Olov Eklund's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Per Harlén read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. Per Harlén showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olov Eklund, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Linderöds if's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Feel the Magic the free kick. Greger Kielberg kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. 46 minutes into the match, Feel the Magic's goal looked a bit too open when Olov Eklund came free, but Per Harlén reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jens-Ola Dahlgren's late challenge caught a Linderöds if's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jens-Ola Dahlgren helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Linderöds if booed when Feel the Magic was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jens-Ola Dahlgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. Per Harlén showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Greger Kielberg in the 48th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Olov Eklund to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Linderöds if's Greger Kielberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Per Harlén made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After having played for 55 minutes, Greger Kielberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Linderöds if's supporters crossed their fingers, but Greger Kielberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 56th play minute Greger Kielberg came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Per Harlén. 1-2. After 59 played minutes Linderöds if got a freekick which was hit by Börge Nordkvist. Rudolf Alebäck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rudolf Linberg having to interfere. If Rudolf Alebäck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 72nd minute, Andy Zander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Greger Kielberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Per Harlén tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Olov Eklund struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Per Harlén didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Linderöds if. The audience was convinced that Olov Eklund's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Per Harlén was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. In the 80th match minute, Linderöds if was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jakob Biörkquist to maneuver through the defense.
