Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Åke Bryngelsson made the kick off which started today's match. 5 minutes into the game, Frans Brask cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Mats Lönn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Krister Magnusson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Storlien IFK getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Agne Klintæus hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Krister Magnusson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Michel Klintæus. That made the score 2-1 in the 17 minute of play. After 23 minutes, Elof Fransson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Marieholm IF and the Storlien IFK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mats Lönn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frans Brask in the 28th minute of play. Peder Emander hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. In the 36th minute of the match Sture Lundin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Michel Klintæus showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After having played for 39 minutes, Åke Bryngelsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marieholm IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Åke Bryngelsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Michel Klintæus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Åke Bryngelsson in the 43rd minute of the match. Åke Bryngelsson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Michel Klintæus having to make a save.

Storlien IFK's Michel Klintæus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Krister Magnusson in the 53rd minute of play. The supporters of Marieholm IF booed when Storlien IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agne Klintæus didn't get a good kick on the ball. Allan Kuse was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 58th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Krister Magnusson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Michel Klintæus read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. In the 62nd minute, Agne Klintæus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 62 minutes into the match, Storlien IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Åke Bryngelsson came free, but Michel Klintæus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Krister Magnusson came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Marieholm IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Krister Magnusson couldn't finish the play. Michel Klintæus stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Åke Bryngelsson's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Åke Bryngelsson in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Michel Klintæus saved Storlien IFK from getting behind. In the 76th minute, Allan Kuse sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Storlien IFK's Michel Klintæus didn't even have to move. When Marieholm IF's Åke Bryngelsson in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Storlien IFK's goalie prevented a goal. During the 85th minute of the match Peder Emander completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Peder Emander a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Peder Emander kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Michel Klintæus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Åke Bryngelsson in the 90th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Krister Magnusson in the 93rd minute of play forced Storlien IFK's goalkeeper Michel Klintæus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 94th minute Åke Bryngelsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michel Klintæus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Michel Klintæus stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Åke Bryngelsson's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Marieholm IF had played much better football throughout.
