In the 3rd match minute, Svedala was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rickard Björkkvist to maneuver through the defense. In the 5th minute Storlien IFK were awarded a corner. Manfred Almstedt went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Storlien IFK's Manfred Almstedt to fire away a dangerous shot which Jonas Nordin despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Michel Klintæus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michael Söderberg in the 10th minute of play. Torsten Wallin shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Michael Söderberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michel Klintæus having to interfere. Svedala's Michael Söderberg got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Martin Palm during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Svedala's Jonas Nordin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kim Bergfeldt in the 38th minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, Storlien IFK's goalkeeper Michel Klintæus had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gösta Bergren. With a little luck, Storlien IFK's Michel Klintæus got control of the ball when Jörgen Fredriksson tried to sneak it across the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Michael Söderberg to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, Svedala was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christopher Hjeltman to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Svedala's Jonas Nordin got control of the ball when Frans Brask tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Svedala booed when Storlien IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agne Klintæus didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 60th minute of the match Torsten Wallin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Michel Klintæus showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Peder Emander charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Peder Emander the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Storlien IFK's Peder Emander got a free kick in the 68th minute. In the 82nd minute of the match, Kim Bergfeldt tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jonas Nordin saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Jonas Nordin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kim Bergfeldt in the 83rd minute of the match. Gösta Bergren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michel Klintæus having to interfere. Storlien IFK's Frans Brask got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. There was no doubt that Svedala were the better team. Svedala's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
