In the 18th minute, Benjamin Biörling got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Chealsea's Herman Fridlund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alf Billvall in the 19th minute of play. Herman Fridlund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alf Billvall, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Benjamin Biörling sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Chealsea's zone, Alf Billvall stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Herman Fridlund came out of the goal and Alf Billvall tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Chealsea's Herman Fridlund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamin Biörling in the 42nd minute of play. Herman Fridlund didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alf Billvall went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After the first half Små Gröna Män were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Benjamin Biörling made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joakim Gernberg got free with Herman Fridlund in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 58 minutes into the match, Chealsea's goal looked a bit too open when Harald Gregersson came free, but Herman Fridlund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benjamin Biörling received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Herman Fridlund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Chealsea's Herman Fridlund got control of the ball when Kenny Strömberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. 62 minutes into the match, Små Gröna Män's goal looked a bit too open when Ingvar Uggla came free, but Arman Dahlberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Små Gröna Män's supporters rose to their feet, but Joar Sundström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Herman Fridlund breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A hard shot 68 in the game by Benjamin Biörling from a close distance when the talented Herman Fridlund managed to make a qualified save. Chealsea's players were relieved. Herman Fridlund came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Små Gröna Män's Alf Billvall. But to his dismay, Alf Billvall quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. After a rather tough play, Chealsea's Sonny Henriksson got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Herman Fridlund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joakim Gernberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 74th minute, Små Gröna Män's Benjamin Biörling ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Herman Fridlund. Herman Fridlund yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ingvar Uggla in the 80th minute of play forced Små Gröna Män's goalkeeper Arman Dahlberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 84th minute of the match, Benjamin Biörling got a very nice opportunity to score, but Herman Fridlund was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Herman Fridlund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alf Billvall in the 85th minute of play. Herman Fridlund made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Benjamin Biörling sent off a good shot on target.
