FC Vråen's supporters rose to their feet, but Johan Holm was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Inge Blomqvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Brian Österlund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Inge Blomqvist having to interfere. Hestarnas IF's Inge Blomqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johan Holm in the 6th minute of play. Brian Österlund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Inge Blomqvist having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Johan Holm in the 12th minute of play forced Hestarnas IF's goalkeeper Inge Blomqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Inge Blomqvist came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Vråen's Johan Holm. But to his dismay, Johan Holm quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Holger Axelsson took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 21st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Inge Blomqvist. Hestarnas IF's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, FC Vråen's Johan Holm sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Inge Blomqvist narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In a very dangerous position, a player in Hestarnas IF fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 27th minute. Penalty! The audience was convinced that Johan Holm's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Inge Blomqvist was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Johan Holm managed to get in a good position for a shot. Inge Blomqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osvald Damm, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ernst Skålberg to strike the kick off in the second half. Ernst Skålberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to FC Vråen getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Benjamin Andreasson hit a great ball. Inge Blomqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brian Österlund in the 65th minute of play. In the 67th minute Brian Österlund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Inge Blomqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 68 minutes, Brian Österlund managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Vråen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brian Österlund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Inge Blomqvist made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Johan Holm sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Johan Holm got free with Inge Blomqvist in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 76 minutes into the game, FC Vråen's Johan Holm nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Inge Blomqvist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Brian Österlund in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Inge Blomqvist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hestarnas IF's Inge Blomqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brian Österlund in the 89th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Hestarnas IF's zone, Brian Österlund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Inge Blomqvist came out of the goal and Brian Österlund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. FC Vråen's Benjamin Andreasson suffered a sore foot after 92 minutes and couldn't finish the game. If Johan Holm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Vråen's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
