Bengt-Arne Malm was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Fritz Ekeberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jens Martinsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bengt-Arne Malm having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jens Martinsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Henric Ahlrot's late challenge caught a Allmännaidrotsklubb's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Henric Ahlrot helped the player get up and apologised. After 56 played minutes Raptors Fotboll Club got a freekick which was hit by Henric Ahlrot. Raptors Fotboll Club's Dick Wiklund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustav Kruuse in the 57th minute of play. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Allmännaidrotsklubb's goalkeeper Bengt-Arne Malm, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bengt-Arne Malm stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jens Martinsson's shot from short distance in the 91st minute.
