Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Ugglorna's Claes Back started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Claes Back fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Torbjörn Mickelsson having to interfere. Torbjörn Mickelsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Tholsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Allan Abelsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ludvig Wiberg in the 18th minute of play. The supporters of Brålanda IK booed when Ugglorna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jens-Åke Brovall didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ugglorna's Allan Abelsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Ugglorna from getting a goal against them. Ludvig Wiberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jens-Åke Brovall received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Torbjörn Mickelsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ludvig Wiberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Allan Abelsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ludvig Wiberg ran back to his position shaking his head. Sten Öman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ludvig Wiberg to strike the kick off in the second half. When Sten Öman came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Brålanda IK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sten Öman couldn't finish the play. Tomas Wester struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Torbjörn Mickelsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ugglorna. Brålanda IK's Ludvig Wiberg got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 60th minute of the match Sven Lilja shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Allan Abelsson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to Ugglorna getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Claes Back hit a great ball. Sten Öman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Allan Abelsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 71st minute, Claes Back hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anders Uggla kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, David Tholsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ugglorna's supporters rose to their feet, but David Tholsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Torbjörn Mickelsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. David Tholssons short, quick shot in the 89thth minute got Torbjörn Mickelsson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Brålanda IK's Torbjörn Mickelsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claes Back in the 91st minute of play. Sten Öman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 94th minute Ludvig Wiberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Allan Abelsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
