Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ludvig Wiberg kicked off to start the match. A collision led to Motala Aif getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Melker Vallmark hit a great ball. Brålanda IK's Roland Wiklund couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 4th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Motala Aif. 7 minutes into the match, Motala Aif's goalkeeper Jimmy Collin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sten Öman. Jimmy Collin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ludvig Wiberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th minute Christer Kjellkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Torbjörn Mickelsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Brålanda IK getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Roland Wiklund hit a great ball. Sten Öman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Christer Kjellkvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Torbjörn Mickelsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Christer Kjellkvist made the kick off in the second half. Sven-Arne Lindkvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Torbjörn Mickelsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Christer Kjellkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Torbjörn Mickelsson having to interfere. 55 minutes into the match, Motala Aif's Christer Kjellkvist sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Torbjörn Mickelsson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jimmy Collin came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Brålanda IK's Sten Öman. But to his dismay, Sten Öman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 61 minutes into the game, Brålanda IK's Ludvig Wiberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jimmy Collin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. 65 minutes into the game, Ludvig Wiberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Jimmy Collin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jimmy Collin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ludvig Wiberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. After having played for 76 minutes, Christer Kjellkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Motala Aif's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christer Kjellkvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 79 minutes into the match, Brålanda IK's goal looked a bit too open when Christer Kjellkvist came free, but Torbjörn Mickelsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Motala Aif's goalkeeper Jimmy Collin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Ludvig Wiberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brålanda IK's Torbjörn Mickelsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Brålanda IK from getting a goal against them. If Christer Kjellkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th minute, Helge Albäck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Brålanda IK's Sten Öman got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Brålanda IK had won after a very even match.
