Spectators: 7272 (Terracing: 5456, Seating: 1672, VIP seats: 144) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mats Vennersten started the match with the kick off. Kent Bergsten received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Jan-Ove Sjögren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Kent Bergsten managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vilshult's supporters rose to their feet, but Kent Bergsten was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jan-Ove Sjögren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 9 played minutes Skånes Fagerhult IFK got a freekick which was hit by Arvin Malm. Jan-Ove Sjögren was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Kent Bergsten showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 14 minute of play. In the 18th minute, Dag Back ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sten Benet was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Thomas Skark hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Sten Benet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mats Vennersten, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. A collision led to Skånes Fagerhult IFK getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Krister Kock hit a great ball. In the 31st minute of the match Thomas Ingvall sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jan-Ove Sjögren skillfully saved the ball. Markus Fastesson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan-Ove Sjögren having to interfere. Kent Bergsten's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jan-Ove Sjögren read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kent Bergsten stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Kent Bergsten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 59th match minute, Skånes Fagerhult IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Krister Kock to maneuver through the defense. Markus Fastesson took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jan-Ove Sjögren. Jan-Ove Sjögren dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Krister Kock's late challenge caught a Vilshult's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Krister Kock helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Vilshult booed when Skånes Fagerhult IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Krister Kock didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dag Back received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Sten Benet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mats Vennersten in the 78th minute of play forced Vilshult's goalkeeper Sten Benet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dag Back sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sten Benet made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Dag Back sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Vilshult getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Thomas Skark hit a great ball. 95 minutes into the match, Skånes Fagerhult IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Markus Fastesson came free, but Jan-Ove Sjögren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Vilshult's Sten Benet got control of the ball when Dag Back tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Vilshult had won after a very even match.
