The supporters of Bromma IF booed when Lugnvik was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Malte Blomkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adrian Låsberg got in the 6th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Ronny Bern handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. The nice shot from Christian Vollander in the 10thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Jesper Fredriksson had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. 16 minutes into the match, Lugnvik's Östen Glanselius sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jesper Fredriksson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 25 minutes into the game, Robert Johnsson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Ronny Bern was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Christian Vollander got free with Jesper Fredriksson in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 37th minute Adrian Låsberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronny Bern saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot by Viktor Öberg from long distance, 44 minutes into the match, got Jesper Fredriksson's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 45th minute, Christian Vollander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Östen Glanselius to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Lugnvik was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ludvig Joensson to maneuver through the defense. If Adrian Låsberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Malte Blomkvist hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Christian Vollander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jesper Fredriksson having to interfere. After 78 minutes, Tage Grönlund mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lugnvik and the Bromma IF players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lugnvik's goalkeeper Ronny Bern, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Lugnvik supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Bromma IF's performance. The match ended with a win for Bromma IF.
