After 9 minutes, Stig Lundhberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Shadow Fotbollsklubb and the Reftele players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Shadow Fotbollsklubb getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Stig Lundhberg hit a great ball. Olov Rudberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Göran Samuelsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Hampus Wallmark took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Thor Alrot to make any attempt to save it. Olov Rudberg came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Shadow Fotbollsklubb's Ivar Askelöf. But to his dismay, Ivar Askelöf quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. After 27 played minutes Reftele got a freekick which was hit by Melker Nyqvist. Andy Vinström was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 27th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Egon Hammarström's late challenge caught a Shadow Fotbollsklubb's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Egon Hammarström helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Reftele's Egon Hammarström got a free kick in the 34th minute. Ivar Askelöf's long shot made the audience stand up and applaude when it rumbled by Olov Rudberg on his right side and into the goal. 36 minutes into the game it was 2-2. Konrad Kolberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 48th minute Hampus Wallmark shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thor Alrot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The wind increased when Helge Pedersson made the kick off in the second half. Reftele's Olov Rudberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Helge Pedersson in the 54th minute of play. In the 56th minute, Göran Samuelsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 2-3 became the score in the 59th minute when Helge Pedersson elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Olov Rudberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Helge Pedersson in the 67th minute of the match. 2-4 became the score in the 70th minute when Göran Samuelsson elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Reftele's Olov Rudberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Reftele from getting a goal against them. Helge Pedersson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Olov Rudberg having to make a save. When Melker Nyqvist fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Reftele's protests and gave Melker Nyqvist a yellow card for diving instead. Melker Nyqvist kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. In the 92nd minute, Göran Samuelsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Olov Rudberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Helge Pedersson's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. If Helge Pedersson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Reftele's Olov Rudberg got control of the ball when Göran Samuelsson tried to sneak it across the goal line.
