Olov Rudberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 42 minutes, Mats Bållström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tun's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mats Bållström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rikard Örtendal struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Olov Rudberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tun. The Tun players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Reftele were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Manfred Browald stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Per Gråberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tun's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Reftele the free kick. Hannes Winström's late challenge caught a Reftele's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hannes Winström helped the player get up and apologised. After 56 played minutes Tun got a freekick which was hit by Hannes Winström. Hampus Wallmark could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Karl-Oskar Grep made a huge save. Rikard Örtendal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Olov Rudberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 81 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Rikard Örtendal sped through Reftele's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Olov Rudberg. If Rikard Örtendal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th minute, Per Gråberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Manfred Browald kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Olov Rudberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rikard Örtendal in the 93rd minute of play. Melker Nyqvist's late challenge caught a Tun's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Melker Nyqvist helped the player get up and apologised. Melker Nyqvist kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. In the 95th minute, Rikard Örtendal made a precise shot to the right of Olov Rudberg. Reftele's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2.
