Joakim Albom recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Ian Frisk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ian Frisk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Henrik Hammarström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gert Lövkvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Svante Hellström in the 28th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Ian Frisk's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Henrik Hammarström was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. In the 35th minute, FC United's Ian Frisk dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 45th minute, Wictor Wassenius hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Svante Hellström, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 47 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Gert Lövkvist was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
