Seating: 1670, VIP seats: 10) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Tomas Berglund got the match started through his kick off. Birger Nyman's late challenge caught a Surte's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Birger Nyman helped the player get up and apologised. After 4 played minutes Grillby got a freekick which was hit by Birger Nyman. The corner led Surte's Håkan Lundström to fire away a dangerous shot which Claes Tingelholm despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Grillby's Claes Tingelholm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Knut Rolfsson in the 16th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Knut Rolfsson in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Claes Tingelholm saved Grillby from getting behind. In the 19thth minute of the game Tomas Berglund who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Surte's Stefan Eriksson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 22nd minute, Tomas Berglund got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rickard Kullgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Knut Rolfsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers August Apelkvist in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Claes Tingelholm saved Grillby from getting behind. In the 28th minute, Grillby's Nils Tinglöv seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Nils Tinglöv the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Grillby protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Nils Tinglöv had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 27th minute, one of Grillby:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Grillby. An unexpectedly hard shot by August Apelkvist in the 31st minute of play forced Grillby's goalkeeper Claes Tingelholm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ted Olsson hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Claes Tingelholm stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of August Apelkvist's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. In the 40th minute Knut Rolfsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claes Tingelholm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling August Apelkvist in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Claes Tingelholm prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 48th minute, August Apelkvist left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Surte fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The Grillby players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Surte were winning 0-1.
With a little luck, Grillby's Claes Tingelholm got control of the ball when Knut Rolfsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. August Apelkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Claes Tingelholm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from August Apelkvist in the 59th minute of play. Claes Tingelholm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from August Apelkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Knut Rolfsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 63 minutes, August Apelkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Surte's supporters crossed their fingers, but August Apelkvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 65 played minutes Grillby got a freekick which was hit by Casper Haström. Claes Tingelholm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from August Apelkvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. When Knut Rolfsson came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Surte fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Knut Rolfsson couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that August Apelkvist's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Claes Tingelholm was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. Knut Rolfsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Surte's August Apelkvist in 82 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Claes Tingelholm guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. If Knut Rolfsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. August Apelkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Grillby getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Sixten Vase hit a great ball. After having played for 88 minutes, Knut Rolfsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Surte's supporters crossed their fingers, but Knut Rolfsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Claes Tingelholm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from August Apelkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. August Apelkvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Claes Tingelholm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. August Apelkvist's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Claes Tingelholm read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. A hard shot 97 in the game by Knut Rolfsson from a close distance when the talented Claes Tingelholm managed to make a qualified save. Grillby's players were relieved. When the final whistle sounded Surte left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Grillby.
