Spectators: 6672 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1667, VIP seats: 5) August Apelkvist started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The audience was convinced that Knut Rolfsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Stig-Ove Dalman was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Stjärnsund's Rickard Hernström got a free kick in the 8th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Knut Rolfsson in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stig-Ove Dalman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When August Apelkvist came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Surte fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that August Apelkvist couldn't finish the play. Stjärnsund's Stig-Ove Dalman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by August Apelkvist in the 15th minute of play. Stjärnsund's Åke Berglund got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 19th play minute Åke Berglund came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Stefan Eriksson. 1-0. Per-Oskar Björnberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Stefan Eriksson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Åke Berglund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stig-Ove Dalman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Knut Rolfsson's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. The audience was convinced that August Apelkvist's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Stig-Ove Dalman was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. After having played for 35 minutes, August Apelkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Surte's supporters crossed their fingers, but August Apelkvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Per-Oskar Björnberg to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes, Alvin Jönsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Surte and the Stjärnsund players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 51st match minute, Surte was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alvin Jönsson to maneuver through the defense. Alvin Jönsson kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Åke Berglund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stefan Eriksson having to interfere. 59 minutes into the match, Stjärnsund's goalkeeper Stig-Ove Dalman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Knut Rolfsson. Rickard Hernström kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. After 61 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Stjärnsund! When the match had been going on for 64 minutes, Surte's Håkan Lundström got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Stig-Ove Dalman. Surte's August Apelkvist got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 91 minutes, August Apelkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Surte's supporters crossed their fingers, but August Apelkvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Claes Mellin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stig-Ove Dalman having to interfere. 97 minutes into the game, Surte's August Apelkvist nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Stig-Ove Dalman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. Surte played a much better game than Stjärnsund and deserved their victory. The Stjärnsund players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
