Einar Brander could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Krister Fredriksson made a huge save. Einar Brander in the 11thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Krister Fredriksson, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Reine Nykvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Reine Nykvist put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Eddie Berg. Reine Nykvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eddie Berg having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reine Nykvist in the 22nd minute of play forced Skärplinge's goalkeeper Eddie Berg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sven-Ove Billvall might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eddie Berg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sven-Ove Billvall ran back to his position shaking his head. Reine Nykvist blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eddie Berg having to make a save. If Sven-Ove Billvall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eddie Berg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven-Ove Billvall in the 26th minute of the match. Lajksjöberg's Krister Fredriksson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Lajksjöberg from getting a goal against them. Einar Brander could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Krister Fredriksson made a huge save. When Sven-Ove Billvall came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Lajksjöberg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sven-Ove Billvall couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Reine Nykvist in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eddie Berg saved Skärplinge from getting behind.

Sven-Ove Billvall might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eddie Berg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sven-Ove Billvall ran back to his position shaking his head. Eddie Berg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven-Ove Billvall in the 52nd minute of the match. Krister Fredriksson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Einar Brander in the 53rd minute of play. Krister Fredriksson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Einar Brander's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. After 56 minutes, Erland Smitt mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lajksjöberg and the Skärplinge players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 56th minute, Erland Smitt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sven-Ove Billvall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eddie Berg having to interfere. If Sven-Ove Billvall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonard Hellsing charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leonard Hellsing the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 74 played minutes Lajksjöberg got a freekick which was hit by Leonard Hellsing. After recieving a nice pass, Skärplinge's Johnny Hurtig tried to score from far away in the 75th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 77th minute, Sven-Ove Billvall ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eddie Berg was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Sven-Ove Billvall succeeded in the game's 85th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-3. In the 88th of the match, Sven-Ove Billvall tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Eddie Berg got in the way and made a wonderful save. Skärplinge's Eddie Berg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven-Ove Billvall in the 92nd minute of play. Jonny Göransson kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. The Lajksjöberg supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Lajksjöberg would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
