An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustav Collin in the 4th minute of play forced Lajksjöberg's goalkeeper Krister Fredriksson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 5 minutes into the game, Gustav Collin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Skärplinge's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lajksjöberg the free kick. Lajksjöberg made a substitution. Erland Smitt replaced Helge Näfver. Gustav Collin kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Kristoffer Uggla kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Reine Nykvist's late challenge caught a Skärplinge's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 12th minute, Sven-Ove Billvall got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Ove Billvall in the 14th minute of play forced Skärplinge's goalkeeper Eddie Berg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 17 minutes, Einar Brander managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Skärplinge's supporters crossed their fingers, but Einar Brander was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lajksjöberg's Sven-Ove Billvall got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With splendid footwork Sven-Ove Billvall arrived in front of goal to shoot 1-0 by the left pole in the game's 20th minute. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Skärplinge's goalkeeper Eddie Berg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 25 minutes into the game, Georg Hedman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lajksjöberg's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Skärplinge the free kick. In the 25th match minute, Lajksjöberg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Georg Hedman to maneuver through the defense. In the 26th minute of the match Kim Hård sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Krister Fredriksson skillfully saved the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leonard Hellsing during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 27 played minutes Lajksjöberg got a freekick which was hit by Leonard Hellsing. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gustav Collin in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Krister Fredriksson saved Lajksjöberg from getting behind. Eddie Berg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven-Ove Billvall in the 30th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sven-Ove Billvall got free with Eddie Berg in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With his leg Eddie Berg managed to avoid a goal in the 39thth minute, when Lajksjöberg's Reine Nykvist fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 46 minutes of play, Lajksjöberg's Reine Nykvist made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eddie Berg was left in no man's land by his defense there! All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gustav Collin to make the kick off. After 55 minutes of play Lajksjöberg's Leonard Hellsing was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The crowd rose to their feet as Gustav Collin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Krister Fredriksson. That made the score 2-1 in the 58 minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, Lajksjöberg's Georg Hedman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eddie Berg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lajksjöberg's Reine Nykvist got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sven-Ove Billvall kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. In the 73rd minute, Tobias Broman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gustav Collin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Lajksjöberg's Krister Fredriksson got control of the ball when Einar Brander tried to sneak it across the goal line. 90 minutes into the match, Reine Nykvist had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eddie Berg. Skärplinge's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Reine Nykvist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Georg Hedman kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. In the 96th minute of the match Johnny Hurtig sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Krister Fredriksson skillfully saved the ball. There was no doubt that Lajksjöberg were the better team. Lajksjöberg's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
