With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pär Collin in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kåre Forsman saved Holmsveden from getting behind. In the 20th minute, Pär Collin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kåre Forsman was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Kåre Forsman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pär Collin in the 23rd minute of the match. If Jörgen Dalman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 36th minute Villiam Andersson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Åberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 40 minutes, Rasmus Billström mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Holmsveden and the Ac Big Hult players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rasmus Billström hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. The attack was good, but when Pär Collin in the 46th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Kåre Forsman was a little too slow when Pär Collin got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 49th minute. The score was now 2-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Tommy Åberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Villiam Andersson in the 57th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Villiam Andersson got free with Tommy Åberg in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 61 minutes into the game, Ac Big Hult's Jörgen Dalman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kåre Forsman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. After a defensive mix-up in Ac Big Hult's zone, Bengt-Åke Stenqvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommy Åberg came out of the goal and Bengt-Åke Stenqvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Holmsveden booed when Ac Big Hult was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isaac Wennerqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jörgen Dalman couldn't finish the play. If Pär Collin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
