Bengt Grubb made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Robert Nyman sent off a good shot on target. Ivan Ahlquist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jens-Ove Hellsing, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 22nd minute, Robert Nyman made a precise shot to the right of Bengt Grubb. Johanneshov's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 28th minute, Orvar Lind hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Robert Nymans short, quick shot in the 38thth minute got Bengt Grubb to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ivan Ahlquist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orvar Lind, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Robert Nyman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dalum's supporters rose to their feet, but Robert Nyman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bengt Grubb breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. George Finnman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Robert Nyman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bengt Grubb having to interfere. Bengt Grubb made an important save on a dangerous shot by Robert Nyman in the 46th minute. George Finnman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and George Finnman made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Johanneshov's goal looked a bit too open when George Finnman came free, but Bengt Grubb reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Robert Nyman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Henrik Lundin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bengt Grubb having to interfere. If George Finnman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee ended the match the Dalum players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
