Spectators: 6689 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1689, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Börje Sandell started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute, Trödje IK's Edvin Bröms seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Edvin Bröms the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Trödje IK protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Edvin Bröms had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 5 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Trödje IK! In the 7th minute there was a penalty for Syrianska FC. Sonny Falkrans stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jerry Siöman. 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frans Skräddare in the 18th minute of play forced Trödje IK's goalkeeper Jerry Siöman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frans Skräddare recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 25 minutes into the match, Trödje IK's goal looked a bit too open when Frans Skräddare came free, but Jerry Siöman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Syrianska FC's Frans Skräddare got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 34th match minute, Syrianska FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonas Bibiano to maneuver through the defense. Jerry Siöman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frans Skräddare in the 37th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Frans Skräddare's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jerry Siöman was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. When Frans Skräddare came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Syrianska FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frans Skräddare couldn't finish the play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Frans Skräddare to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Trödje IK's zone, Frans Skräddare stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jerry Siöman came out of the goal and Frans Skräddare tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Trödje IK's Jerry Siöman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Trödje IK from getting a goal against them. Thomas Brandt hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. In the 66th minute Tommy Vennerdal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonardo Lindqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sonny Falkrans in the 72nd minute of play forced Trödje IK's goalkeeper Jerry Siöman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 74 minutes, Ingemar Hedbom mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Trödje IK and the Syrianska FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 74 played minutes Trödje IK got a freekick which was hit by Ingemar Hedbom. Leonardo Lindqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tommy Vennerdal in the 77th minute of play. Leonardo Lindqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tommy Vennerdal in the 79th minute of the match. Thomas Brandt kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Tommy Vennerdal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Frans Skräddare received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Jerry Siöman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Syrianska FC's Sonny Falkrans got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rune Flink took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 88th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Leonardo Lindqvist. Syrianska FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Frans Skräddare recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 92nd match minute, Trödje IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ingemar Hedbom to maneuver through the defense. In the 94th match minute, Trödje IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lars Anundsson to maneuver through the defense. When the match was over Syrianska FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Trödje IK throughout the match.
