Spectators: 7267 (Terracing: 5452, Seating: 1671, VIP seats: 144) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Arne Asserlind kicked off to start the match. Arne Asserlind received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Mattias Berggren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mattias Berggren stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arne Asserlind's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. Mattias Berggren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonas Esbjörnsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kevin Bergqvist made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Magne Skytt sent off a good shot on target. La Cité de Soleil's Magne Skytt got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 35 minutes into the match, Magne Skytt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kevin Bergqvist. Domsjö RK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Magne Skytt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Kevin Bergqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joakim Bivall, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jonas Esbjörnsson in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mattias Berggren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joakim Bivall stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Arne Asserlind recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Joakim Bivall struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Kevin Bergqvist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Cité de Soleil. With his leg Mattias Berggren managed to avoid a goal in the 60thth minute, when Domsjö RK's Jonas Esbjörnsson fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 62 minutes into the match, La Cité de Soleil's Joakim Bivall sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kevin Bergqvist narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mattias Berggren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arne Asserlind in the 65th minute of the match. Torbjörn Isaksson hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. 74 minutes into the match, La Cité de Soleil's goal looked a bit too open when Arne Asserlind came free, but Mattias Berggren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Joakim Bivall's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kevin Bergqvist was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. La Cité de Soleil's Magne Skytt got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kevin Bergqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joakim Bivall, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Jonas Esbjörnsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mattias Berggren having to interfere. After 91 played minutes La Cité de Soleil got a freekick which was hit by Sonny Lundgren. 96 minutes into the match, Domsjö RK's Jonas Esbjörnsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mattias Berggren narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
