Spectators: 7371 (Terracing: 5529, Seating: 1695, VIP seats: 147) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Frans Skräddare kicked off to start the match. Syrianska FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Frans Skräddare was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edmund Bredberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Frank Lindsten made in the 22nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Ralf Engström immediately put the ball in play. After a rather tough play, Syrianska FC's Jonathan Vacker got a free kick in the 23rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Smidarnas IF's zone, Frans Skräddare stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edmund Bredberg came out of the goal and Frans Skräddare tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Smidarnas IF getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Konrad Ersman hit a great ball. Edmund Bredberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Frans Skräddare's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. In the 41st minute Frans Skräddare shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmund Bredberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Frans Skräddare had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46th minute, Stellan Spetz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pelle Bergdal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Smidarnas IF's Edmund Bredberg got control of the ball when Frans Skräddare tried to sneak it across the goal line. Leonardo Lindqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jens-Erik Larsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. In the 65th minute, Sonny Falkrans got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Edmund Bredberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frans Skräddare, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute.
