After 17 played minutes Domsjö RK got a freekick which was hit by Gilbert Danielsson. Tommy Vennerdal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Kevin Bergqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jerry Siöman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arne Asserlind's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Jerry Siöman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arne Asserlind, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 45 minutes into the match, Domsjö RK's goalkeeper Kevin Bergqvist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tommy Vennerdal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tommy Vennerdal got free with Kevin Bergqvist in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arne Asserlind was the one to do the kick off. If Arne Asserlind had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Domsjö RK were awarded a corner in the 58th minute after Trödje IK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jack Granberg took the corner. Arne Asserlind sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jerry Siöman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arne Asserlind in the 65th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tommy Vennerdal in the 77th minute of play forced Domsjö RK's goalkeeper Kevin Bergqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Stig-Arne Åkesson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Trödje IK's Jerry Siöman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Trödje IK from getting a goal against them. 96 minutes into the match, Trödje IK's goal looked a bit too open when Arne Asserlind came free, but Jerry Siöman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
