Spectators: 6662 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1662, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Sten Vallgren got the match started through his kick off. Fredrik Hurtig showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alvin Pihl in the 4th minute of the match. The supporters of IFK Feckan booed when Säve was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sten Vallgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alvin Pihl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Ingvar Hedbom came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the IFK Feckan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ingvar Hedbom couldn't finish the play. In the 9th minute, Sten Vallgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fredrik Hurtig stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alvin Pihl's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. In the 14th minute Alvin Pihl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fredrik Hurtig saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alvin Pihl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fredrik Hurtig having to interfere. Fredrik Hurtig showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ingvar Hedbom, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. When Sten Vallgren fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Säve's protests and gave Sten Vallgren a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of IFK Feckan booed when Säve was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sten Vallgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Säve's goalkeeper Fredrik Hurtig, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 24th minute, Alvin Pihl left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The IFK Feckan fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Peder Kihlberg charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Peder Kihlberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 27 played minutes IFK Feckan got a freekick which was hit by Peder Kihlberg. Alvin Pihl succeeded in the game's 30th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-2. 36 minutes into the match, Säve's goal looked a bit too open when Alvin Pihl came free, but Fredrik Hurtig reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 37 played minutes Säve got a freekick which was hit by Alf Möller. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Sten Vallgren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Säve's supporters rose to their feet, but Sten Vallgren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stellan Östensson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half IFK Feckan were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alvin Pihl to make the kick off. If Alf Möller had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Säve's Fredrik Hurtig got control of the ball when Ingvar Hedbom tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ingvar Hedbom who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 61stth minute tested the skills of Fredrik Hurtig when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Marc Hellqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ingvar Hedbom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Fredrik Hurtig tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ingvar Hedbom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Säve getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Sten Vallgren hit a great ball. Alvin Pihl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Fredrik Hurtig tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Säve's Fredrik Hurtig got control of the ball when Ingvar Hedbom tried to sneak it across the goal line. 80 minutes into the match, Säve's goalkeeper Fredrik Hurtig had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ingvar Hedbom. 81 minutes into the match, Säve's goal looked a bit too open when Alvin Pihl came free, but Fredrik Hurtig reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alvin Pihl's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fredrik Hurtig read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. Alvin Pihl succeeded in the game's 88th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-3. Ingvar Hedbom recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fredrik Hurtig made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stefan Hybbert in the 94th minute of play. If Alvin Pihl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The Säve fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. IFK Feckan were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
