Uno Olsson charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Uno Olsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Christopher Klemensson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fredric Björnberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Torbjörn Månsson in the 18th minute of play forced Stehag's goalkeeper Tommy Larsfält to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Torbjörn Månsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Larsfält having to interfere. If Torbjörn Månsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Torbjörn Månsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wiktor Jansson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christopher Klemensson having to interfere. When Fredric Björnberg fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Stehag's protests and gave Fredric Björnberg a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Stehag getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Fredric Björnberg hit a great ball. In the 47th minute, Wiktor Jansson made a precise shot to the right of Christopher Klemensson. Slutarp's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell George Ahlgren to make the kick off. When Wiktor Jansson came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Stehag fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wiktor Jansson couldn't finish the play. Holger Tolsson kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Uno Olsson was shown his second yellow card after 68 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Stehag's Uno Olsson got a free kick in the 69th minute. After 75 minutes, Krister Dalberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Slutarp and the Stehag players grew even worse after the yellow card. Torbjörn Månsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tommy Larsfält. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Torbjörn Månsson ran back to his position shaking his head. Stig Thorsberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 85th minute, Torbjörn Månsson reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tommy Larsfält. The goal made the score 1-2. Slutarp's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
