Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Anton Broberg started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Åseda's goalkeeper Gilbert Löfkvist, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Klas Lundin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilbert Löfkvist having to interfere. Sigvard Sikström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anton Broberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Sigvard Sikström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anton Broberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Åseda's Gilbert Löfkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kaj Lustig in the 22nd minute of play. Gilbert Löfkvist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kaj Lustig's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. 28 minutes into the match, Arne Lennartsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sigvard Sikström. Långängarna FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arne Lennartsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. If Anton Broberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 41 minutes into the match, Åseda's goal looked a bit too open when Kaj Lustig came free, but Gilbert Löfkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kaj Lustig in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gilbert Löfkvist saved Åseda from getting behind. The supporters of Långängarna FC booed when Åseda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rickard Pedersson didn't get a good kick on the ball.

A collision led to Åseda getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Jan-Ove Åberg hit a great ball. After 55 minutes, Jan-Ove Säv made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Åseda's Gilbert Löfkvist tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Bernt Bure hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Gilbert Löfkvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kaj Lustig, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Jan-Ove Säv had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sigvard Sikström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anton Broberg in the 68th minute of play. Jan-Ove Säv scored 1-3 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gilbert Löfkvist, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 75th match minute, Åseda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernt Bure to maneuver through the defense. Gilbert Löfkvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kaj Lustig in the 78th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Åseda's Bernt Bure got a free kick in the 79th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kaj Lustig in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gilbert Löfkvist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Arne Lennartsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 85 minutes into the game, Bernt Bure was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Åseda's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Långängarna FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Åseda's Bernt Bure got a free kick in the 85th minute. Arne Lennartsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sigvard Sikström having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Åseda's zone, Kaj Lustig stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gilbert Löfkvist came out of the goal and Kaj Lustig tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Anton Broberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sigvard Sikström having to make a save. The Åseda supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Långängarna FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Långängarna FC.
