When Angelo Paolini got free in front of the goal in the 33rd minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Ingemar Holm was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 37th minute, Helge Mellberg had to leave the field with a concussion. Björn Emander hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Jimmie Hansson's late challenge caught a Höstensfinaste's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jimmie Hansson helped the player get up and apologised. In the 41st minute Lukas Aronsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matias Bras saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 46th minute, Oskar Johansson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kåre Hedlund took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 48th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ingemar Holm. Höstensfinaste's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.

The wind increased when Angelo Paolini made the kick off in the second half. Ingemar Holm stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Angelo Paolini's shot from short distance in the 86th minute.
