Dag Vestlund came out of the goal and Inge Pettersson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Svullos Fina Gubbar booed when Torstens Kameler FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ragnar Norberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dag Vestlund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulrik Bäck, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Torstens Kameler FC's Dag Vestlund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Inge Pettersson in the 10th minute of play. Bengt-Rune Forsberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dag Vestlund having to interfere. When Inge Pettersson came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Svullos Fina Gubbar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Inge Pettersson couldn't finish the play. Marko Dahlbom charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marko Dahlbom the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 13 played minutes Torstens Kameler FC got a freekick which was hit by Marko Dahlbom. The supporters of Svullos Fina Gubbar booed when Torstens Kameler FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arman Vennerström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Torstens Kameler FC:s Dag Vestlund showed great skill when he stopped Bengt-Rune Forsberg:s penalty. Bengt-Rune Forsberg took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dag Vestlund. Dag Vestlund dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Albert Biörnberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 30 minutes into the game, Marko Dahlbom cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Östen Örnberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ulrik Håkansson kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Torstens Kameler FC's Dag Vestlund proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Torstens Kameler FC from getting a goal against them. Bengt-Rune Forsberg who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 39thth minute tested the skills of Dag Vestlund when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Torstens Kameler FC's goalkeeper Dag Vestlund, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bengt-Rune Forsberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Dag Vestlund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dag Vestlund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bengt-Rune Forsberg in the 47th minute of play. Marko Dahlbom hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jan Berggren was the one to do the kick off. Ulrik Bäck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dag Vestlund having to interfere. 57 minutes into the game, Alf Håkansson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Svullos Fina Gubbar's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Torstens Kameler FC the free kick. Dag Vestlund stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bengt-Rune Forsberg's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. After having played for 67 minutes, Inge Pettersson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Svullos Fina Gubbar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Inge Pettersson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 69th minute, Inge Pettersson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Inge Pettersson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Svullos Fina Gubbar fully deserved thier win.
