Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Kjell Joensson got the match started through his kick off. Erling Målare showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bengt-Rune Forsberg in the 7th minute of the match. Kjell Joensson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Östen Örnberg having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Svullos Fina Gubbar's Albert Biörnberg got a free kick in the 21st minute. Östen Örnberg was out of position in the 26 minute of play, and Kjell Joensson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Kjell Joensson really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Östen Örnberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kjell Joensson's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. Alvin Nordström's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 35thth minute, Östen Örnberg skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bengt-Rune Forsberg in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Erling Målare prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 40 minutes into the game, one of Svullos Fina Gubbar:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ulrik Bäck stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Svullos Fina Gubbar's Inge Pettersson in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vedevåg BK's goalie prevented a goal. In the 53rd minute, Svullos Fina Gubbar's Ulrik Bäck ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Erling Målare. Erling Målare yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. Albert Biörnberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erling Målare having to interfere. Erling Målare didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 64th minute, which inside left pole to 2-2. In the 66th minute, Robin Hammarbäck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpected shot in the 67th minute by Albert Biörnberg got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Ulrik Bäck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Svullos Fina Gubbar defense, Kjell Joensson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Östen Örnberg. The Svullos Fina Gubbar fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Östen Örnberg should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvin Nordström in the 75th minute of play forced Svullos Fina Gubbar's goalkeeper Östen Örnberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Östen Örnberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. Albert Biörnberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Erling Målare tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Svullos Fina Gubbar's zone, Kjell Joensson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Östen Örnberg came out of the goal and Kjell Joensson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vedevåg BK were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Svullos Fina Gubbar for a fine match.
