When Karl-Åke Lööf came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Söröje IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Karl-Åke Lööf couldn't finish the play. In the 12th minute, Sven-Arne Siggman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 13 minutes into the match, Söröje IF's Isak Qvalfeldt broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After 17th play minutes Gunnar Ahlroht shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Aleksander Olofsson and just under the crossbar into goal. The supporters of Burseryd booed when Söröje IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonatan Hurtig didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Jan-Åke Hermansson came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Burseryd fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jan-Åke Hermansson couldn't finish the play. Felix Gudmundsson charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Felix Gudmundsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 27 played minutes Burseryd got a freekick which was hit by Sven-Arne Mellberg. Aleksander Olofsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Karl-Åke Lööf's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. The supporters of Söröje IF booed when Burseryd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan-Åke Hermansson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Karl-Åke Lööf received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Aleksander Olofsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gunnar Ahlroht struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Aleksander Olofsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Söröje IF. The audience was convinced that Karl-Åke Lööf's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aleksander Olofsson was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. In the 47thth minute of the game Gunnar Ahlroht who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Burseryd's Aleksander Olofsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jimmie Nässén was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Burseryd's goal looked a bit too open when Karl-Åke Lööf came free, but Aleksander Olofsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Karl-Åke Lööf kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Aleksander Olofsson. That made the score 0-3 in the 58 minute of play. After 62 played minutes Söröje IF got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Ekblom. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gunnar Ahlroht got free with Aleksander Olofsson in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Jimmie Nässén came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Burseryd fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jimmie Nässén couldn't finish the play. When Mattias Rosendahl fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Söröje IF's protests and gave Mattias Rosendahl a yellow card for diving instead. After 83 played minutes Söröje IF got a freekick which was hit by Mattias Rosendahl. Burseryd's Aleksander Olofsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Burseryd from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Karl-Åke Lööf in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aleksander Olofsson saved Burseryd from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Åke Lööf in the 91st minute of play forced Burseryd's goalkeeper Aleksander Olofsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aleksander Olofsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Åke Lööf in the 94th minute of play. In the last second Aleksander Olofsson throw himself and got hold of the ball when Karl-Åke Lööf in the 96thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. When the final whistle sounded Söröje IF left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Burseryd.
